HighRes Biosolutions & LabVoice Announce Integration to Voice-Enable Automation Systems

Updated: Jan 19, 2021

A new year, and a new partnership! This time, we’re introducing scientific virtual assistants to your automation laboratories. Make sure to talk to us or HighRes if you’re planning on attending SLAS 2021, and we can arrange for a demo of the integration.

LabVoice and HighRes Biosolutions announce a new partnership to integrate their products that will provide scientists a completely new experience when working with their automation systems. The integration introduces a LabVoice virtual assistant to Cellario, a scheduling software for lab automation built by HighRes Biosolutions, allowing users to drive actions, query system status, and more while away from the keyboard.

This collaboration aims to simplify the user experience when interacting with lab automation equipment and software, which can be inherently complex. Researchers, when their hands are full of samples or plates, will no longer require a screen to access many features of Cellario. For example, users can ask LabVoice to control instruments and robots with basic (“Start”, “Stop”, “Pause”, “Resume”) or advanced (“Run Order XYZ”) controls; run individual, parameterized device actions; perform inventory scans; provide plate locations for guided order setup; receive real time updates on order status, including notifications when an order has been completed; and much more.

“The HighRes partnership aligns with LabVoice’s mission to simplify laboratory processes,” says Fred Bost, CEO & Co-Founder of LabVoice. “With the Cellario-LabVoice integration, we will help scientists further automate their laboratories, freeing them to focus on analysis and decision-making. Voice interaction with Cellario will decrease avoidable experiment expenditure and streamline lab operations.”

“We strongly believe that scientists and end users need tools that continue to simplify and streamline the interaction with our automation platforms,” said Ira Hoffman, CEO of HighRes Biosolutions. “These systems can be inherently complex and the easier the experience is, the more they can focus on what’s important…their science. We think the LabVoice product and team are strongly aligned with our vision of the automation experience. “

For more information or a demo of the integration, please reach out to LabVoice at info@labvoice.com or HighRes Biosolutions at sales@highresbio.com. Further, we encourage you to visit our booths during SLAS 2021. LabVoice will be at Booth 87 and HighRes Biosolutions at Booth
