Sales: Account Executive

Location: Remote

 

LabVoice is a fast-growing startup bringing to market the first voice assistant for scientific laboratories. We are searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a growing business. We’re specifically looking for an experienced sales representative who will help grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships and collaborating with cross-functional leaders internally to deliver consistently excellent customer experiences.

Objectives of this Role

  • Grow customer base and company revenue

  • Ensuring retention and high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Establish a trusted and strategic advisor relationship to help drive continued value of our product and increase adoption within customers

  • Maintain and develop sales success strategies and best practices

  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external senior-level management to understand customer needs, maximize retention and growth, and communicate learnings

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Actively seek new sales opportunities.

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

  • Forecast and track sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts), regular use of CRM

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

  • Develop new business with clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive, life sciences experience preferred

  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver client-focused solutions to customer needs

  • Know how to meet ambitious individual and sales quotas

  • Knowledge of CRM software (HubSpot)

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Excellent listening, communication, and negotiation skills

  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
